"It's the daily doses of seemingly small choices
that add up and over time become huge things."
In a world with an infinite amount of knowledge, we rarely need to know more, but to embody more of what we already know. To go from inspiration to integration and turn that "one day" into "day one". It means closing the gap between knowing and being, and creating a system within which that change can live. This is where we come in.
The seed to DailyGarboos
"On the founding team of Scandinavia's largest interview podcast, 3.5 million monthly listeners, I worked closely with some of the world's most successful entrepreneurs, athletes and artists. I saw that 'successful' and 'joyful' don't always correlate. But I also saw the common denominator among those who had both. It came back to the same tools I had used to heal an autoimmune disease, perform at university, and change the trajectory of my own life. The same tools neuroscience and behaviour change research consistently point toward. The question became: why don't we all do this? And how do we make it accessible? That question became DailyGarboos and The Algorithms of Life."
Ida Carleborn, FounderIn intention and integrity.
The name comes from Greta Garbo, the legendary Swedish-American Hollywood actress and international icon, a relative of our founder's grandmother. To us, Garbo represents integrity, elegance and boldness.
The very same qualities her grandmother Gunvor Carleborn embodied and passed on: the courage to follow your heart, and the ability to do it with intention and in integrity. She is our north star.
Daily stands for those daily doses of seemingly small choices that add up and over time become huge things. We build the systems within which those choices become easy to make, so that change doesn't depend on willpower or motivation but lives inside the architecture of daily life itself. Because when people feel really good, they make better daily choices for themselves, and others. And this is how we change the world: by changing our inner world.
Hotels are no longer a place to stay.
The guest experience is an inside job. What determines a guest's experience is not what's in front of them but how what's inside of them perceives it. That is something we can influence.
We design ecosystems that shape the guest journey from pre-stay to post-stay, connecting in-room experience, spa, retail and touchpoints on property into one coherent architecture. One that elevates not just the guest journey, but the guest's life journey.
The Algorithms of Life is placed in some of the world's most considered hotels and was selected by Business Traveller magazine as one of the top three hotel journals in the world. It has been used on retreat by Kim Strother at Six Senses and Auberge Resorts, and by Brooke Burke across retreats in Costa Rica and beyond.
People who feel good, do better.
We work with leadership teams and organisations to close the gap between knowing and doing, through tools and perspectives that integrate into daily work rather than disappearing after a single session.
Our clients include hotel groups, investment firms, law firms, media companies and creative agencies. We tailor our work to your team's needs: from workshops and sessions to a full 66-day journey. From inspiration to integration.
"When we come back to ourselves, we give ourselves the opportunity to change the world."
