Our founders personal story
In 2014 I developed Hashimoto's, an autoimmune disease, and it felt like everything went against me.
What followed became a journey of healing Hashimoto's and understanding how much our internal world shapes the life we experience.
I came to a turning point when I realized something simple yet profound. It felt as if there was an algorithm to life.
Just like on social media, where you receive more of what you engage with, life gives you more of what you choose to focus on.
This insight changed my life. When we move from victimhood to responsibility, we gain power. And with that power, we can redirect our lives. This was what I did.

The story behind DailyGarboos
“Garboos” is inspired by Greta Garbo, a relative to my grandmother. To me, Garbo represents integrity, elegance and boldness.
The very same qualities my grandmother Gunvor embodied and shared with me. The courage to follow your heart, and the ability to stand in your worth while doing it.
When we come back to ourselves,
we give ourselves the opportunity
to change the world.
The intention behind DailyGarboos is to help people come back to themselves, live in alignment with who they are, and create a life that feels both aligned and expansive. To make it both appealing and attainable to go from 'inspiration' to 'integration' and make wellbeing a part of life. Without compromizing on aestethics.
Because when we do, we shift the world.
